When it gets quiet...

When it gets quiet and Chloe is no where to be found, you know she is up to no good. I was in the kitchen doing something last week and I kept calling her name over and over and she never came to me. I finally walked into my bedroom continuing to call her name and still nothing. I finally walked over to Ryan's side of the bed and there she was playing with Ryan's iPad. First, let me explain to you where his iPad is. He has a CD shelf up against the wall on his side of the bed and there are 3 books stacked on top and then his iPad on top of those. Chloe reached all the way up there (on what I think was her tippy toes) and grabbed the iPad and thankfully only 1 other book came down with it. She opened up the case and was playing the piano app that we downloaded for her. When Chloe first saw me, she looked up at me, then started pointing at the game and said, "iPad, iPad!"

Sunscreen Incident

One day last week I decided to go on a run around my neighborhood. I threw Chloe in the jogging stroller and off we went. It was much warmer than I thought and of course I broke a good sweat. We got home and I thought to myself, "I need to take a shower, but what am I going to do with Chloe?" Well, I just figured she would be okay playing around in my bathroom and I would be in and out of the shower in less than 10 minutes. I was literally in the shower NO longer than 10 minutes. I got out, peeked into my closet and there Chloe was with a bottle of sunscreen wide open, sunscreen all over her clothes, and all over the carpet in my closet. I had no idea she would be strong enough and know how to open the sunscreen bottle. She is one SMART cookie and nothing gets in her way of what she wants! Thankfully I got it all cleaned up and there are no stains anywhere! Whew!

Premise Behind this Blog

I decided to start this blog after talking with my mom last week and telling her 2 different stories about Chloe. She told me, "You need to write these down so you don't forget." Well, I decided that blogging these stories would be much easier for me and then other people can share in the misery, laughter, and head-shaking! Ha! So, I hope you all enjoy reading the Adventures of My Red Headed Little Girl!!!!!!
